This book was recommended by our marriage counselor for my husband. He refused to read it.. but I did. Unfortunately, or fortunately.. we are now divorcing. This book helped me to see a pattern of behaviors that were presented by my husband. It offered a written understanding of his past and behaviors. He wasn't ready for/or is not capable of change for his own self. However, it allowed me an understanding and sense of worth that I knew I was not responsible for his actions.
